The Cuillins, Isle of Skye, Scotland

Skye Instruments Ltd began on the beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland, UK in 1983.
The Cuillin range is one of the most famous views of Skye, with its highest point, Sgurr Alasdair, at 992 m (3,255 ft).

Skye’s 25th Anniversary

Skye celebrated 25 years of success in 2008 and marked the occasion with a competitive 10 pin bowling outing, BBQ and party. The close knit staff presented this lovely cake, made by one of our talented team, to the founders John and Gill Wilde.

Skye at Play (The Skye Team)

The Skye “family” enjoy working and socialising together, with annual summer BBQs and firework parties every November 5th. Here the true team spirit is shown by synchronised sparkler writing!

Come sun, rain or snow the Skye service team will get through with a smile! We offer service and maintenance visits throughout the British Isles.

Customer Training

Individual or group training can be arranged at the Skye offices in Llandrindod Wells, UK, or on the customer’s own premises if preferred. Our trainers have travelled far and wide around the world offering this valuable service.

Skye Representative Training

The Skye Team includes Representatives from all over the world, who regularly meet up for product training, instrument servicing and to share ideas. And of course to socialise and get to know each other well!

Skye Instruments is based in the UK and we are very proud to be celebrating being in business since 1983. Our products are designed and built in the UK. We have a very wide product base and our sensors & systems are used for plant & crop research; micro-climate, global climate change studies; environmental monitoring and controlled environment installations.

Products include light sensors & systems, weather monitoring sensors, automatic weather stations, plant research systems.
