Skye Instruments Ltd have been designing and manufacturing quality, fully calibrated light sensors since 1983. Skye offer sensors to measure light levels in the Ultraviolet A (UVA) and Ultraviolet B (UVB) wavebands, as well as a UVI sensor which has a response closely matching the Erythema Action Spectrum, the damaging portion of the solar radiation spectrum associated with sunburn and skin cancer.
The housings are black aluminium and sealed to IP67 standards. The light sensor heads are cosine corrected and have been designed with an integral amplifier to give a voltage output for use with most dataloggers, computers, PLCs, etc. Sensor calibration is traceable to NPL (National Physical Laboratory) and each sensor is issued with a calibration certificate
